Viewed times. One of them didn't have any alsa specs so they're now both fixed to what I believe you told me to do earlier and now alsa and pulse show up by pressing 7 in ncmpcpp. You have to explain why you have one in. Did you check the permissions? Do I really have to ask twice?
The exact command please. Since your configuration sets user to "mpd", have you double checked if that user has enough privileges, to all directories in the configuration? Edit: The point of having alsa and pulseaudio outputs was to see if both go through pusleaudio. I hope you at least tried disabling each of them at a time. Missed a word. Deleted the one in. I run mpd by typing 'mpd' after killing any old processes with 'pkill -9 mpd' and then I run 'ncmpcpp'.
It was my mistake with the user, I changed it from 'mpd' to my real user and it worked, I didn't even realize that's what it was. I would have next checked the permissions had it not worked. I realize I made a lot of really stupid mistakes, I'm really new at anything command-based and sometimes it's hard to understand how to go about doing everything and I mess up a lot.
